The Warehouse Theatre is an intimate city venue. We are a small local business, who pride ourselves on providing a niche venue for all artists, established or emerging, to connect with their audience.
Once an abandoned storage space, The Warehouse Theatre was painstakingly renovated by the team at Vocal Artistry and opened its doors in 2020 only to close them throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The Warehouse has since housed a number of shows and is home to regular Open Mic Nights, Adelaide Fringe Festival performances, Cabaret shows, Poetry Slams, Stand-Up Comedy. There is also gallery space available for local artists.
Offering a unique combination of a black theatre, versatile staging options and an adaptable rehearsal space, The Warehouse is equipped with a fully-licensed cocktail bar and also has capacity for additional open-air seating.
Our versatile site is run by artists for artists. We provide a space for artists to not only create but to collaborate, as well as perform in a supportive venue that is inclusive of all. The Warehouse awaits the creativity and artistry of your next Venture.
HIRING THE
WAREHOUSE
All our spaces are available to hire independently or as a package deal. The theatre is a black box that allows you to workshop your cabaret show, rehearse your band, play or craft a film. The workshop/bar space is great for meetings and get-togethers: or it can be used as another area to rehearse in. Our collaborative studio space is used as a teaching space, online sessions or as a dressing room - equipped with a piano this room can also be utilized for another rehearsal space or workshop space.

We are an inclusive space and celebrate diversity through our artists and performances. Everyone is welcome. You can hire our theatre and crew to put on your performance, be part of our Winter Warmers Festival or Fringe. We will look after the tech, the bar, the door and set the venue to your needs. We are here to support you as an artist whether it be getting you established or just getting that nugget of a show on stage.
Proudly, we have become a favourite intimate venue for fringe festivals. As a group of artists supporting artists we understand your stresses and needs and will help with marketing, promotion, crew, backline, rehearsal space, performance venue, and cocktail bar. We accommodate all genres of the arts ; cabaret, theatre, music, comedy, and anything else you want to bring to the stage.
